Zion Church Women (ZCW)

Since Covid-19 has changed everything, we are asking people to do most of our quilting work at home.  We will miss the fun of gathering, but we want to remain steadfast in our mission to help others.

Our first stage will be making tops and bottoms at home.  The material will be set on a table in the narthex.  Please take some home and assemble size 60x80.  If you have material to donate, please place it on the table provided.  I'm asking for more big size quilts because LWR only takes this size and we have smaller (45x60) size quilts still on hand from last year.

Next, when you have the tops and bottoms ready, please take them to the church basement.  There will be a marked table to place them on.  A few women will assemble the layers and sew them together.  This will allow you to take them home to be tied.  They will be placed in the narthex with the yarn.  When done, you can place them in the pews.

If you already have tops to be assembled, you can still drop them off but they won't be assembled until the last two weeks of January.

Thank you for all your hard work, and let's see what we can accomplish together or apart!
